Benefit Concert

We are pleased to host an unique and inspirational concert of electroacoustic music by longtime ASZC Member, Dick Robinson. His artful technique of “sound sculpting” through precise speaker arrangement and lush, complex compositions creates an enveloping sensory experience that is not to be missed.

Mitzutake Feast

For our second annual gala fundraiser dinner, Hojo will be the chef, providing chicken as well as vegetarian (tofu) versions of this country-style Japanese dish. Cooked right on the table, the steam rises to the ceiling and fills the room with a wonderful scent. We dip the steamed ingredients in a savory soy-base sauce thinned with juice from fresh orange slices, accompanied with steamed rice, and optionally, beer and sake.

Raffle

The afternoon will conclude with a Raffle of items from the ASZC Store and donations from local merchants, the proceeds of which will underwrite the operating expenses of the ASZC.

Fundraising Information

This event is an important part of our overall end-of-the-year fundraising drive.
We hope to achieve $30,000 in pledges and raise $5,000 from this event. Your contributions to this fundraising event are very important to our budget for 2008 and our ability to fund the programs and services we have planned for next year.

Please contribute in advance for as many places at the table as you would like (tickets are transferable if it turns out you cannot make it in person). Following are the levels of contribution:
