Dharma Talk: Why Not Us? When We Change, the World Changes
Speaker: Karel Vredenburg
Brief Bio: Karel Vredenburg is a researcher, educator, and co-founder of Habits for a Better World, a nonprofit exploring how individual behavior change grounded in science can contribute to personal wellbeing and, when done with others, a better world. His work sits at the intersection of cognitive science, design, and the conviction that large-scale transformation emerges from the daily choices of ordinary people. He spent much of his career leading the design organization at IBM and retired two years ago as Global Vice President. He currently serves as an Industry Professor at McMaster University, a career coach, a podcast host, and President of Habits for a Better World, which he co-founded with filmmaker Carly Williams.
