Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind in Ukrainian and Ukrainian Sangha

Anton Angyō Borzov is a Zen practitioner originally from Ukraine, now based in Los Altos, California. He practices primarily with Jikoji Zen Center in the lineage of Kobun Chino Otogawa Roshi. Anton currently serves as the President of Santa Barbara Zen Center, where he contributes to the sangha remotely.

His commitment to making Zen teachings accessible led him to spearhead the Ukrainian translation and publication of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi's "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" - an effort to support Ukrainian practitioners by providing dharma teachings in their native language. Anton's practice is deeply informed by his diverse background in technology and design, bridging Eastern contemplative traditions with his professional life in Silicon Valley.
